Kids Physio - Kindergarten Readiness Workshop

Adventure Alley knows movement is medicine, and play is learning. That’s why we’ve partnered with Kids Physio for a series of FREE interactive parent-and-child movement experiences designed for families with children and their caregivers. Join us Thursday, August 13th from 11 AM to 12 PM for our next workshop for children aged 4-6 ‘Kindergarten Readiness’!
Rather than a traditional lecture-style format, these sessions are intended to feel hands-on, engaging, and play-focused, combining expert pediatric physiotherapy guidance with active movement and exploration throughout the Adventure Alley space. Our upcoming August session will focus on the gross motor skills that support kindergarten readiness, combining an informative discussion with opportunities for parents to ask questions and learn practical strategies to support their child's development.
Families will then take part in guided play activities alongside the Kids Physio Group team, exploring how movement, balance, coordination, and play help build confidence for a successful transition to kindergarten.

Programming Details:
The session consists of:
A 30-minute discussion and parent Q & A led by pediatric physiotherapists
A 30-minute guided movement & play component using Adventure Alley’s equipment and environment
Hands-on opportunities for families to engage directly with the Kids Physio team
Topics may include:
Gross motor development
Climbing, balance, coordination, and jumping
Supporting movement confidence through everyday play
Toddler movement milestones and development questions
Families who wish to stay and play after the session will receive a discounted Adventure Alley play rate of 15%, to be purchased in-person on August 13th.
