From Garden to Keepsake 🌸 A hands-on flower-pounding workshop where kids turn fresh blooms into wearable art.
Join us Sunday, October 4th for a morning of botanical crafting and play. Using fresh flowers and foliage provided by May Flowers, participants will learn the traditional Japanese flower pounding technique of Tataki Zome; gently transferring natural pigments and intricate botanical shapes onto natural fabric. Each child will get to choose between a tote bag or pouch to turn into a one-of-a-kind keepsake of their very own.
Designed to foster creativity, sensory exploration, and an appreciation for the beauty of the natural world, this eco-conscious workshop is the perfect way to connect and create together as a family. Following the workshop, participants will have one hour of open play in Adventure Alley’s nature-inspired indoor playscape.
